yeah the black and purple one is much better. I added some eyes, they aren't much but I tried a bunch of different styles and that looked the best. Trust me.
I used stiches because I was keeping with the theme of the other skins, plus I honestly couldn't think of anything better. Originally I wasn't going to put stitches on the cape at all, just the little bit on the legs. I was going to put a border and some runes and stuff on it, which looked awesome except that the hood uses the same part but all inside out and stuff, and it completely ruined it. So basically I was forced to do the stitch thing because that's the only thing that looked half decent. The cape on the black one is actually a recolor of the brown one, which looks much better, with the smudges of green and stuff. the best part of the brown version is the boots, but you can barely see them, so it's pointless. I attached a little pic of the boot from the blp. I thought it looked great, with the rope and the fur, I was gonna put some slime and blood splotches on it but it didn't look right.
Yeah I should explian again, I worked my ass off on these skins. There's many, many different things that I tried that were great ideas but didn't work because of the wrap. I restarted from scratch (except for the face) probably about 10-20 times. So when I say I'm not happy with the result, I don't mean I'm giving up, I mean this is the very best I can possibly do with what I had and my current ability.
But don't worry, I'm gonna be around longer than I had first thought, so this won't be the last thing I do after all. I have to do something unbelievably amazing to make myself feel better after this skin. ^_^
