I made a terrain of what I envisioned a human island town would look like. Any feedback would be awesome. The first 4 are of a coast town and the 5th is of a plantation to the southwest. |

I just think you should use sand instead of dirt to bourder the water. |

I had that at first, but it looked too tropical. I wanted this to be a little more savage of an area. |

thats what i call bold mixing of tiles. village rock on what looks like barrens dirt and sunekn ruins grassy dirt. i think youd be beter of with the lordearon fall dirt if you dont want to use the sand tile, also, if you mix tiles like that, take all shots with heavy fog to help reduce contrast between tiles |

Not barrens dirt, but lordaeron summer dirt. I added fog like you said, and it turned out pretty good. I set it to white fog (light) because I actually like the contrast between the tiles. |

Looks very nice. Only suggestion I have is to use just a bit more height variation, as is the case with most learning terrainers. Sorry if I've insulted you, no offense intended. |

I have no idea how rep works in this forum, but I did a search trying to find a topic to get rid of black sky, so maybe I had a short burst of being a dumbass. I figured it out. |

Switched pathing to mushroom, double clicked, dragged one up on the other, then switched back to city building pathing. |

You rlly shouldnt use that tileset.. Looks more like its a town on the beaches of Lake Michigan not an island town. If you want it more rugged make it tropical but make a lot of cut down trees and maybe add some rough dirt in there but dont use plain grass and dirt.. looks pretty good so far but most of the crossing between Lorderan Summer and Sunken Ruines looks wierd Good Luck! :D |

one tip: dont use bright blue water tinting. Your town is sitting on the coasts of 'Blue Paint Sea' |
