New Race Mod/Campaign New idea

Hey, I was sitting here in boredom thinking of an idea, and was thinking of a race mod, but the races being a combination of T.V shows, movies, etc.

For example, Lord of the Rings Race, Star Wars Race, and so on and so forth.

The main thing I have a question about is how the story would be tied toghther when we have people wielding swords and arrows, and the other with lightsabres and laser guns. ^_^ Since it would be nice to have a campaign putting all the races toghther.

So if you have any suggestions for races or just a yay or a nay about the project just say so, I'll get a techtree done ASAP if I find out that the idea is liked.

Sunds cool :) but will it not be a little unbalanced if you should make laser sowrds with power of a steel sword? anyway... It could be wuiet cool to get a job :P but the only things i can do is testing a littel and giving ideas :/ anyways my skills are at your service...

Thanks, ya it wouldnt be unbalanced to give them the same power it would just be against the laws of the world, and the campaign would be weird.

*Aragorn from the LotR race goes through mysterious portal and ends up 1 million years in future in a star wars cantina where he makes love to what he thinks is princess laia but is actually the dark lord sauron, and sauron kills aragorn , now 1 million years in the future the battle between steel and photon energy begins.*

Just kinda weird how you would make those meet... and if you do have some ideas Ufo, come up with some more races bside LotR and Star Wars.

Lets see.. GOT IT! We add CS or something ^_^ else we can add hm... ANTZ maybe! or Toy Story! It would be cool with a race nearly made only of fun ^_^ im run out of idea for now :/ i check what action movies i got XD! Of course! we add Robin Hood!

Hmmm, we could make a race of like wc3 members and how they wanted to be, That would be cool. Good idea though. Still need some more though.

Hehe, the idea sounds pretty funny and good none the less. Anyway, don't you think it will be hard to do? Since a lot of new models will be needed this way.

race 2)lord of the ring
race 3)another very famous film trilogy ( how about evil dead or jurrasic park or indiana jones)
race 4)something funny(monty python and the holy grail(MUST SEE KILLER-BUNNY) or yeah maybe toy-story)
if you need idea's just aski have too much imagination

got a really good idea! we take a race there is the united creeps from WarCraft! i can allready see the description: DO you thinks its fun to be a creep from WarCraft? being killed around 1000000 times at day just so you can have it fun? NOW! The creeps araise and you will suffer from all what you have creeped! (if you use creep tactic nearly everytime you play wc3 dont think your units will obey you

UFO, there already is a mod that changed the creeps into a playable race, so it wouldn't be very original.

If I didn't made sense last time, I meant there was already a mod going on or already finish in which you could play with a creep race. No need for an other one.

My signature is slymie? Well, if you didn't like it, well too bad I guess. I'm not planning of changing it for one person. The sig. has a lot of meaning for myself. I was thinking of changing it but decided not too long ago.

Yeah, I guess I must admit that I give Jester completely right... LOTR is now waaay too common, but Jester, they didn't just interested it in LOTR. Though come to think of it, making something with LoTR is hard as it is.
