I need to get a model that is invisible (not the spell or effect but for all "in-game" purposes is completely invisible) but still has all of the attachment points of a basic unit.... I was wondering if there is anyone that would be nice enough to make one and send it to me or post it where it could be DL. ^_^ 99% of the time I can do things on my own with triggers but I am having trouble and need to use a custom model I think. I don't know how to make skins or models and I don't (unfortunately) have Photoshop which, I'm guessing based on all of the other posts, is pretty much required.... So are there any REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEALY nice people out there? ^_^ |

This goes to the requests section, and Cookie actually made this model for me, I am giving you the chance to use it, but please give credit to cookie, check the Caster System Link in my signature |

Lord Vexorian, I'm not sure if this will help you, or anyone who is trying to do something but doesn't have photoshop, but you could try GIMP. It's freeware, and it has MANY of the features photoshop has. I use it all the time. http://www.gimp.org Go here, then click "GIMP for Windows" (unless u have a diff OS that is) For the Windows one, the easiest way to get it is to click the Jernej Simoncic link. Then, there are 2 files to DL. First, download the GTK library thingy, and install this first. Then download the actual gimp exe, and install it. I'm no graphics pro, but I love art, so I found this program (being poor as I am and unable to buy Photoshop) and I use it for anything I need to make. If someone who knows Photoshop real well, perhaps they could point out what GIMP won't do that Photoshop will, as I am unable to do so, for I have never used Photoshop indepth. |

Umm thanks for the help but I couldn't find the unit that cookie made four you... It's ok though. I just learned how to use Image Viewer and File Converter. Then I: extracted the mdx converted it to mdl added the necessary lines of code to allow for attachment points saved and converted back to mdx imported to map Worked like a charm ;) Thanks for the suggestions though :D |
