I've been working on this terrain for a little bit. Just a little thing I did out of boredum... but yeah. For some reason the sky box is way closer than it should be... how exactly do I fix this? (I get barely any view distance because of this)

I also can't figure out how to darken the screenie. :\

im fairly sure you cant get rid of the black, its just an effect you get when you zoom the skin in or out too far, and bits of the sky model start to become invisable revealing that black behind, the closest thing you can get to fixing this is rotating the camera untill you find a posstion where you cant see the black bits

Well, heres ANOTHER shot. I changed the angle, changed some of the settings, and added a..... few touches.

It's over pretty good, better than most forest shots I've seen. You need to add leaves to the trees in the background though, it looks kinda odd right now. Adding shadows would be a definite plus.

the black is the map boarder, to fix it go into the senario menu and change the map size and camera bounds to be much bigger.

You could also add enlarged bushes and raise them up to the top of those world trees. Adding smaller trees like the ones in the Environment pack would also work well. It would also match those tree stumps and things down at the bottom.

Well I took your advice and such and fixed my terrain up a bit. I even added a couple units for an "effect". ^_^

Looks great! :D You have the brightness too high though.
