Ok this seems to be the right forum. :\ Basically all I want to do (which I am having dificulty with for some reason) is have the normal game camera but zoomed out a bit so they can see a bit more of the screen, but it dont seem to work the way I did it. I made a camera at the right angle of attack and distance I wanted it to be and named it 'InGameCamera'. However when It come to the triggers I got all muddled up because the 'Camera - Lock camera target for Player 1 (Red) to (Last created unit), offset by (2469.38, -1964.31) using Default rotation' Just locks it in the middle of nowhere nowhere near the unit and makes me unable to move the screen anywhere! I just want my camera to follow the players last created unit (as this is the only unit he will be controlling and is created via a dialog button 2 seconds earlier) around as he plays! Can sumone tell me what triggers I need to be using please cos I getting muddled up, or any easier way to just make the normal game camera be a bit further zoomed out. Thanks. Harl. |

Ok managed to get it to lock the camera to my bloke and move with him which is fine. But I cant view anywhere else on the mini map now :( This is my current triggers: Camera - Apply InGameCamera <gen> for Player 1 (Red) over 0.00 seconds Camera - Lock camera target for Player 1 (Red) to Lich 0000 <gen>, offset by (0.00, 0.00) using Default rotation If I click on the minimap to look at an area, it wont go there. Is there a trigger I can apply to make the new applied camera act like a normal game camera that will let you look anywhere on the minimap whilst applying the new camera? Thanks (I getting there lol) Harl. |

LMFAO...Ok I have just fixed my own problem with a bit of persistence! 1 simple trigger with no extra camera's needed! Thanks anyways, maybe this will help someone else out anyways who may have had same problem. Camera - Set Player 1 (Red)'s camera Distance to target to 2393.77 over 0.00 seconds (The 2393.77 is the Distance to Target......Lower value is closer to the target and higher is further zoomed out) Thanks Harl. |
