End Of Ttor? Important Message From Blizzard

i just went to my wc3 news page : www.inwarcraft.de and found this!

blizzard: In response to the question about whether or not you are allowed to change the background, here is the answer.

Modifying the MPQs in any way is a violation of the end user license agreement which could make an account subject to removal from Battle.net. For this reason, we ask that players make use of the included World Editor for modifying the game. could that be bad for TToR?

That's when you use TToR against non-TToR players, which results in disconnecting and that can be looked upon as cheating. Be very careful not to use TToR vs. non-TToR players.

is it posibile to just take out that feature? from the TToR mod so that there isn't a play game button?

superglut2 u haven't understand the news...a while ago, inwc.de posted a news, how tio use the beta background instead of the tft menü background...it's darker, and many liked it...but it people aren't allowed to do this...this news has absolutley nothing to do with modding!

after all changing mpq's is not allow but TToR may also use another runner system, by using the .exe runner, let me explain about this exe. runner, it s a especiall mpq in form of exe. that runs instantly the game USING THE WAR3 MPQ (NOT MODIFYING IT). this 1 instead of replacing the files in war3.mpq it uses the 1s in its own and uses extarnal files from war3.mpq, without anychange in war3 mpqs data. This type of runner is made for the mod i'm working, call wc2 2nd generation and i think that Divine Right uses it to. And also is perfect because is good for a multipatch mod, honestly, i have war2 for war3 of my mod runner, and i have been using it seens 1.13 and i can still use it.

It is not perfect, because it contains bugs such as the stringdata being screwed up, which is why we chose not to use it. When it comes to blizz, they are fully aware of what we are doing and they will allow it as long as we don't mess with their ladder. I'll see if i can get someone to edit away the play game button in the framedef.

hmm right about strings but yours causes some errors at playing wc3 in normal way, example i lost some icons, that were really important.

That's not lost, that's just a bug :P
