This is probably in the wrong forum, but i get lost so easily :( . Ok I made an icon right? It looks pimp and everything. But it's in TGA format... so i open up my image extractor II program, and try to open the image, so that i can convert it to .blp. It won't let me open the image, it says that it has an unsupported compression something or another.... Is it my editor? And if so is there ne way for me to change the way it compresses files?

What program did you use to make the icon a .tga? What bit depth did you save it as?

or, you could just use WC3 VIEW to convert. it converts almost anything to blp- but use targa so that there aren't black spaces showing up on the model you are trying to skin.

Convert a BMP to BLP using WC3 VIEW to see what i mean about the black spaces.

Hope that helps.
