Lord of the Rings
Chapter I
A Long Expected Party
-:-:-:-
I have seen so many LotR project's rise and fall.. it
is very sorry sight, because I just love the books. But
only two cinematics about LotR world are not about the trilogy.
About the books I love.
Im going to give it a try too.
Let's see if I fail too..
-:-:-:-
So. First cinematic is about the first chapter of Fellowship
of the Ring. It's all about the great party. I'v started terraining
the map and I have already made some pics of the Bag-End
(Bilbo's and Frodo's home is someone doesen't know).
-:-:-:-
The Screenshots
1) It's a close-up of the Bilbo's house. Im still needing a
skin for the door.
2) Not so close. Good view of the garden.
-:-:-:-
I need to improve the area, because it really lacks
some difference. I need to make it look special
and hobbit'sy, so any tips to make it
look better are welcome.
-:-:-:-
That's all folks.
Just C&C please. |

Update!
-:-:-:-
All the pics have been updated, because I finaly
found the new tree models. They really fit
the fantasy style of LotR, I think.
And Im soon going to replace that ugly demon gate
with a real hobbit door made by Oinkerwinkle.
-:-:-:-
And if someone feels annoyed, because I have triple
posted.. just keep quiet and tell me how do you like the
terrain. It's not my fault that no-one has viewed this :P
-:-:-:-
NEW Update
I just got the new hobbit hole model. It's fantastic.
See the updated first pic of Bilbo's house. It just
needs windows nows :P |

Somehow that's not how I envisioned Bag End or the party in the begining of the book at all. |

You have watched too much of the movies. Im basing this cinematic on the books and I think that it would have looked somewhat like this. |

I guess so :\. Since Bilbo is rich, and I mean rich, I'm talking Bill-gates-rich here, I thought the party would be more than just a few tables. Many tables with canvasing over them, games, hundreds of guests, that sort of thing. I like the cool use of custom trees and placement of doodads though. :D |

You are right about the party thing. Bilbo ment them to be best ever so I guess I just have to make the are more larger. Also I need somekind of tent's there (not the bandit tents :P). |
