a lack of rotation of bone would limit you pretty much, but a lot could be done without it. Just the ability to only animate the scaling of polys would help us get all of the buildings finished for the starcraft mod. Actually we could do the whole thing except for the walking units and portraits. The entire protoss race with all buildings and all units is modelled and half of it is skinned. About 3/4 of the rest of the models are done with a few skins here and there. It wont be long before we can release something if we can do some animating. So KMK if you can make the maxscript export bones so we can at least scale stuff and you arnt because you dont think it is what people want, it would be actually be nice. |
