I was unwrapping with LithUnWrap when I came across a problem. I am unwrapping this model:

Zoom (requires log in)

I noticed that in LithUnWrap you can create a material, set its colors to black, set its specular color to white, and then then assign the material to the model. Here's what I came up with:

Zoom (requires log in)

The skin looks shiny, or somewhat metallic. Now I exported the UV map and I am editing it in photoshop. How can I alter the blackish color in photoshop to give me the same effects as the material I used in LithUnWrap? I want the model to look somewhat metallic, and shiny, not just a dual black.

Now do what? I don't just want to lighten the color of the black, I want to give it a luster. Yes, Lithunwrap is free: http://files.seriouszone.com/downloa...a0cce9ee446ac9

Nobody knows how to change the skin to be lusterous or shiny? Oh well, I'll figure something out.

I'm not 100% sure what your asking but to light the black use dodge tool. To Make it darker use the burn. They are in the same branch. Should be hand or a black magnifying glass. To get shiny metal go to the dodge tool at the top bar select highlights and adust the percent.
