Ok well, i was just playin around- but now im at a standstill- and im afraid i desperately need help:
1) Crits on technique /paintovers of colorscheme appreciated
2)Idea help on problem areas

problem areas-
\ that black bar on the front and back of his body- its really odd!
\ his stomach- it just looks... weak... any ideas on design there?
\ his legs AHH RED!
\ The helmet- i wanna avoid the standard 'dome' but no ideas
\ kneepads ... i dont like kneepads...

FYI- no alpha-ing is possible (cry) but oh well. plz help!

last but not least- i dont do that "no stealing" crap- dont bother stealing, all my stuff gets released on request and its a wip anyway (...not that anyone would want this -yet- lol)

Nice love is except the face. For colors try. Put logos on it add some colors red or blue would be good. The chest is fine.

When I skinned him I made it kinda look like an energy bar or tank for some sort of chemical.

It looks fine to me. The top breast plate look way too bright though. Other I like it a lot. Make the lights blue like his eyes.

Put armor around the shins and stuff. Put layered armor plates.

Not much you can do the wraping suckc there. Just make it silver with dents and crap.

Make them metal and slap a logo on them

Also what do you mean paintovers? Do you I should color ur skin or what?

That red on his legs... It doesn't show in the flat. Teamcolor? Anyways, the bar that's holding the lights looks a bit plain; try making wires wrapped around it, delivering electricity to the lights from the armor. (I bet you'll say that they are in the inside, but it's not as cool. ^_^ ) As for the greavers, loads of armor plates sounds good. The blue goggles are cool, but they could use (thicker) frames. Overall, this is pretty good.

@ Mock- a paintover is simply taking one of the pics i supplied and literally loading it into paint and drawing what you think should be done[rougly] if your idea is too hard to articulate. like a color overlay if you're trying to show a scheme, or if you have a face idea just popping that right on and re-uploading. its alotta work, but if people do it right it becomes a very usefull tool for skinners.
