Arch Temple by Beam

Back with some more screens of something I'm trying out. After seeing Gitlich's little temple thing that he SHOULD have continued (hint man), I came up with this sucker here. I really wish that the double columns would be symmetrical, because it really looks weird when one side is different from the other side. But anyway, this temple took a fucking long time to work out all the angles on the circular thing at the end.

I'm not quite finished with the entire map yet, but I just wanted to show this part. I like it.

Do all Archways just come out of the water like that? I'm just curious cause both you and Gitlich had it like that.

i think it just makes it look more magical having them rising out of the water, weve all seen buildings on land, but somehting about being over water, you loose track is distance as water is constantly flat, but with land theres anomalies by which you can judge distance, its all helps to disorientate the perspective. although having said that, my prefered meathod is having less pillars at the base, and having it expland as the structure goes upwards, ameking everything look finely ballenced. but those archways just above waterleval and run paralell to the path look great. mine looked rather bland from underneath

I'm sure with the right amount of sun light and water it can grow beutifully.... Wait what was I talking about? On second thought, you should use an icubator maybe instead cause you can never depend on the sun nowadays.
