Do they? Because I've tried to extract alot of them and with BigMPQ it says "file corrupt" and then terminates.

With WinMPQ it extracts but is not readable. (Same with BLP's BTW)

Heeeelp me! =P

Talking about FDF, here is a sample of modified menu that removes the Battle.net menu (in main menu) and the campaign menu (in single player).
It also changes the races names.
(this was exceptionnaly done for RightField)

Your problem may come from an older version of WinMPQ or a storm.dll conflict. Try to copy storm.dll from you war3 directory in the directory you installed the LATEST version of WinMPQ with the latest version of MPQ-Control. You can get them from our download section.

Zepir: But how did you manage to get it out from the MPQ's?

Edit: Alright.. my version of WinMPQ is just a folder with the executable alone.. nothing else there.. doesn't that mean that it doesn't require and load any additional files? I thought so at least.

Second Edit: Solved! (Nice menu btw Zepir) ;)

With an older version of WinMPQ you'd need storm.dll v1.09 (from Warcraft III) to correctly extract files from war3.mpq. You can put storm.dll into your WinMPQ folder or into your <Drive>:\Windows\System\ (for Win98/ME) or into <Drive>:\Windows\System32\ (for Win2k/XP). Anyway, if you download the lastest version of WinMPQ and MPQControl (I'd suggest Shadowflares Realm which is the official page of Shadowflare, the programmer of WinMPQ) you don't need to put storm.dll into the locations mentioned above (I've tested this).
