What is, jass, mpq, and AI. and how do you get to/open up a map file to get to the "scripts\" |

AI is artificial inteligence, havent u seen the matrix? JASS is custom script. if u want more info CHECK THE TUTORIALS. |

I still can't find anything about how to get into the map scripts :( |

AI and Map scripts are both written in Jass. Jass is a proprietary scripting language designed for Warcraft III. As you seem to be a complete noob I suggest to check the Tutorials section for tutorials. A prerequesite is to understand basic triggers in the WE. It is also very helpful if you know some other programming language. If you are completely new to programming I can only suggest to stay away from Jass. MPQ is a format for compressed archives which contain a lot of files. Get WinMPQ or Ladiks MPQ Editor to open them (-> Important Threads, FAQ). |
