Probly a Newbie Q but Help

Im new to custom icons, Im using Paint Shop Pro 8. I create the icon make it nice and everything and save it as a .TGA. I import it to TFT and use the following path

ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTNIronIngot.tga

THen I restart The Editor and my icons appear all screwy, there are several white lines going down my icon. Here's a picutre of what is supposed to appear like and then a pic of what it is appearing like.

Are you using any compression in your TGAs? Are you using 32 bits or 24? You should be using no compression and 32 bits. Have you tried converting to BLP using Wc3 Viewer (see downloads section)?
