Looking for artists

X, feel free to 'snipe' me (or move this) if this is inappropriate, but I didn't see any "no trolling for artists" in your sticky. :D

I'm looking for artists and it's not wc3c or infact wc3 related. I have 2 separate requirements. For the first, check out this thread for details. It's primarily for banner and button artists. Just reply to that thread if interested.

For the other, it's not even Blizz related! To qualify, you must have definate artistic talent and free time. It also doesn't hurt to be a Tolkien fan and have knowledge of cartography. May require hand drawn and/or computer drawn images. I'd rather someone who wants to 'work' for a looong time. If you're interested in this one just PM me here.

It's not against the rules. And in fact, I would encourage people to do so if they require the services of those who reside in this sub-forum.

Unfortunately at this time there is no pay available. Both involve fansites and the work is voluntary. Any and all work is always credited on the site(s).

For the second one there may be perks down the line. I intend to pass on any favor the site gets, to the staff.

Hummm sounds interesting ... unfortunatly i doubt i got the skills, i hope some1 will help you or you could always ask requests here instead of having 1 artist working for your site

Is there any more info on the second one? It depends on how much I would be interested in it but I don't want to jump in until I know I could be that dedicated towards something.

Otay, otay, you've twisted my arm. It's for an upcoming Middle Earth Online Fansite. I want a Tolkien fan with talent. We're part of a network so if you wanted, you could also do art for any number of other mmorpgs. In fact, if anyone is interested in doing art for any other mmorpg, PM me. ^_^

Anyone who would like occasional work for any number of mmorpgs out there just give me a holler. We need some artists that can do a job here and there. Our network has currently 6 fansites in production (and more in the future) so the more artists the better. And you will be able to pick and choose which project(s) to do. So if you're a fan of games like WoW, Guild Wars, FFXI, City of Heroes and MORE... PM me here and I'll hook you up on our site. This means you get to do as much or as little as you like and have your artwork (credited) on sites that will ultimately have thousands of members. Right now we have over 5000 members with NO fansites live. Once the fansites go live that will multiply significantly. This is a great way to start at the start of what's going to be huge.

This would be for both concept art, pen and paper, and PC art like banners and such or wallpapers, etc. You do what you want, what you're best at.

Many artists are interested in perks... they might want to see this.
