Rotating model.

I am in need of making a turret model for a map.
And the problem I am having is:
I need the turret part to rotate and hit targets, and leave the base stationary.

The unit does not move, it will just shoot, any ideas? I want to have a tripod, but if worse comes to worst, I will have to use a Stick in the ground *sigh*

Maybe try to use the bones of the NE ancients.

Well, that will make the whole unit rotate... which would need a stick instead of a tripid...
I am wondering if there is any way to have just the turret rotate...

Then use the human canon tower.

Attach everything that you want to rotate in the direction of attacking to a bone called Bone_Turret .

Hmm, I was reading that in the Warcraft III Art tools thing..
Does it really work?

Well, in order for me to test, I need to finish UVW and texturing..
Thanks for the help :)

Yay! I tested it and it does work :D
Now I still have the cylindrical base... but this is a test model mostly, the creator of the map may want me to make the tripod since he knows I can now ^^
