We are joining the Club (when Skull gets ready).

Just as a taste-maker : our storyline

"In the beginning of time, the gods created the worlds, while the supreme demons weaved the Twisting Nether between them. The reptile god, Brontosus (feel we need a better name), created the colorful world of Gani'A. He populated its landmasses with reptiles, its oceans, seas and lakes with abundancy of fish. Gani'A was a rich world, which enfavored the emergence of intelligent races. Two subraces from the land-reptiles grew to conscience, both under the protection of one of Brontosus' children. His son Tyrannus took the lead of the Saurs, descendents of the huge carnivores that made the day on the planet before the rise of intelligence. Tyrannus was a fierce yet noble warrior, who inherited from the bright side of Brontosus. He educated his people in martial arts, and breeded a race of conquerors.
Brontosus' daughter Pteranodona inherited from Brontosus' dark side, and specialised in the arts of black magic and necromancy. She educated her people, descendents of the most cunning herbivors, in the powers of darkness.

Both races lived together for millenia, maintaining a conflicting relationship between each other. But then, Pteranodona machinated a plan to overthrow Brontosus' rule and grab power herself. During her sessions of dark magic, she got in touch with the demon lord Sargeras, who was eager to find a way inside the world of Gani'A. They made a deal : the demon would help her grab power on her world, and in return his insatiable horde would be allowed to feed upon the people of her brother. In a horrible clash, however, Brontosus and Tyrannus led the Saurs to victory, repelling Sargeras' hordes from their ravaged world. And Pteranodona's betrayal called the wrath from her father upon her. The proud pteranodon was deprived from her limbs, and turned into a flying serpent. Her people was reduced to a race of low-to-the-ground snakes, bound to crowl over the ground helplessly. The Saurs were sent to chase her and kill them till the last soul.

Pteranodona, however, convinced Sargeras to take her with him on his redrawal. And it was so, that the snakemen came to the world of Warcraft, accompanying the Burning Legion on its campaign against the eldorai. Yet, before he was besieged and incarcerated, Sargeras sent his protegée to the then still uninhabited land of Khaz Modan, with orders to hide and prepare the return of the Legion. He had sensed the presence of an extremely powerful object there, nearly the counterpart of the eldorai life-tree. Later, the snakemen would indeed discover the life-crystal in the Khaz Modan goldmine of dark sintels. Sargeras also foretold the arrival of the dwarven race on the land, and urged Pteranodona to remain unnoticed by that crafty workers race -yet benefiting from their inventions-. The snakes indeed went underground, and Pteranodona’s magic managed to keep their existence hidden for any race -the elusive eldorai were no longer interested in the rest of the world, but concentrated exclusively on Kalimdor and the Life-tree, and the mages from other races weren’t powerful enough to break her magic illusion-.

When the orcs invaded the world, Pteranodona sensed her time was near. The human race had grown strong, though, much too strong for the snakemen, even despite their considerable dark magic. But when the fleeing orc warlock Ner'zhul accidentally opened a rift towards her former homeworld, time for action had finally come. A powerful agent of the legion, the dreadlord Tichondrius, came to the dark queen, and told him to contact Ner'zhul in his dreams. She told him there was a way to complete the conquest of the lands he had to flee, and helped him make a rift from Gani'A into the World of Warcraft. While she did this, the demon lord made sure both Draenor and Gani'A would be consumed by the Twisting Neather. Tichondrius and Pteranodona helped Ner'zhul raise his army of undead.

In the meantime, the Saurs recovered from the devastating passage of the orcs through their world. But not for long : Ner'zhuls rift caused the Twisting Nether to begin consuming the world of Gani’A. This opened the way to the demon horde, eager to feed on the world’s magic. The Saurs knew they would leave nothing but death and decay behind. The fierce warriors of the Saurs could hold the demons off for some time, but were no match for the large champions of the infernal race. So, the council of Saur Shamans convinced Tyrannus and Brontosus of the need of an evacuation. Only an escape through Ner'zhuls exit-rift, and the destruction of that rift, could save the Saurs.

On the new world, the Saurs were welcomed by a race of snakemen. Despite the hatred that came along with the recognition, Brontosus and Tyrannus were in no position to take action against the banished, as they would surely need them to survive in this hostile world. This way, a loose alliance grew, giving Pteranodona the fierce melee army she had been waiting for ever since she arrived on this world…"
