This goes more in this than in the sounds from what I can tell, if not, please move it ^^ I need to attach sounds to my unit, so that it has shooting sounds etc. But I cannot figure it out. Do I need to make a box named "SNDxyyyy" or is there something else? |

well if you want the sound in the actuall model what you said above is correct except you need a point helper and not a box although a box might work. Anyways you have to make the 'yyyy' match to one of the data in the art tools documentation. |

Now a point helper, how would I create one of these? I was also having troubles with "attachment points" every time I tried to apply it to a box, 3ds crashes. :( *Edit* found the point helper.. but what do I apply the "SNDxDRIF" to? Do I set that to it's name? or is there something else? |

Ya set it as its name then make a note track under objects under the point helper then make a note where you want the sound to start. |

Ok, I was trying to set it under the "Objects" although now I think of it, that doesn't make any sense :D |

the is a triger called fire sound. its for giving units that dont have atack sounds and changing attack sounds. the trigger has an unusual script. its an easy trigger all you need to do is select the sound and th unit variation. |
