Guest | I've tried modifying the UpgradeData.slk file from the War3Patch.mpq, using Excell, but no matter what I try I cannot remove the gold and lumber requirements from two weapon upgrades. I want to be able to remove the Melee Weapon upgrade and Steel Armor upgrade for the Orcs, along with reducing their research time to 1 second. I've edited the goldbase, goldmod, lumberbase, lumbermod, timebase, and timemod values for each upgrade. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I've used WinMPQ to extract UpgradeData.slk and used Excell to edit the file. I used mpq2k to import the file into the map and it reported that it was completed successfully. I'm at a loss here people. Any help on the matter is highly appreciated. Thank you :) |
