Ok, taking another stab at it, here is a grunt that has been in battle worn aka has been in battle for ages. I'd like CC please, the back isn't done yet, but what do you think of the front? as i said before, CC please ^^ |

looks nice so far- though i do have a few critiques - dont get mad :-X - 1) anyways- you've rusted the shoulderclasp pretty nicely- however i think that the other metal areas of your grunt would rust just as much- so attempting to make the wrist bands and boots (im assuming they are greaves :( ) more of a uniform rustyness to tie them together would drastically improve his overall look. 2) Hes been in battle for ages, and yet still finds times to keep his hands nice and washed?? Bloodying those meat-renders up a lil bit could help you to keep the illusion of a battlehardened ownagemachine! :> 3) The cut under his eye is nicely done- too abd its mirrored- but nothing can be done there- nice touch! 4) Try burning/singe-ing the furry part to his helm- it just seems too clean for a warrior comin back from battle- looks like he stole the helmet off of a new recruit lol  (the rust on the top is hard to see, but looks nice from what i can see)5) This is just a challenge here- ignore it if you're not up to it- but those pants could use a lil freehand action there- or even cnp- it just needs to not be... black... i dunno- it jsut bugs me. Basically a very nice WIP here!! :D cant wait to see the back!- try to keep this in mind when you're workin on it- he cant protect his back, so it may be more worn than his front is! updates!! |
