New Map Idea

In my spare time I've been fooling arond with Warcraft 2 units, switching things around and that crap. I was thinking of a total conversion in Warcraft 2. Changing the Humans to Elves, and Orcs to Trolls. I've made a troll pig rider and some other graphics I could use. I know this forum is for Warcraft 3 but this is a good, populated forum with experienced users and some may be interested.

However, the images I played around with are only .gifs that are animated. I don't know how to put them in-game. If anyone can help, then please reply.

So... what are you trying to do? Making a project for Warcraft 2? Or just pictures of them? My humble apologies of a lack of understanding but my body is reacting on its own while my mind is sleeping. Anyway, if I was right with any which I said, then this is highly probably the wrong forum and the off-topic section should be right.

Sorry I guess I should have posted this somewhere else. At first I was gonna ask for some people to help, but my post and ideas changed and I just needed help to find any programs that would put in unit files and crap. SO basically I have no idea how to put custom units in game or anything liek that. All I know is taht I have a talent for lower pixel art such as in Warcraft II. So anyone that knows how to put things in Warcraft II, then help be appreciated
