Pg down those trees a few so it doesnt look like there floating. I don't think that the tropical trees and sand look good with a snow peaked mountain in the back of it. |

yeah thats not a good idea, try makeing it a volcano? doesnt need to be a live one, possibly a dormant one would look good. |

More tree variation, mix canopy and normal, more tile variation, use sand on the edges and drit and grass on the mainland, use enviromental doodads, shrubs, etc. and do something about that ugly cliff, I suggest not even using the cliff tile, just raise the terrain, platue it, the put rock tile on the sides of it, make it look better in that enviroment. |

That ship is ridiculously small. Scale it up to maybe twice it's normal size so it will look like a real life sized ship. Scaling is important in terraining. Also that naga circle platform thing needs some support. About half of it is just hanging off the edge of the hill. Put some scaled down ruins pillars under the corners so it looks like the weight is supported. I also don't really understand why there would be cityscape tiles in the water off the coast of a supposedly deserted island. Make sure your tiles match each other. |

I'd smooth out the sandy areas/hills to make them look more dune-like. Sand doesn't usually stick up that much. |

Or change the Naga circles Z to like 1000 and it wont look so flat. |

@beam - the cityscape tiles are part of the campaign. The characters in the campaign are confused to why the road leads to islands as well. It's all part of the campaign. I'll put your other suggestions into action. @shiningforce - the 'dunes' are going to be flattened and made into an altar. I hadn't worked on that part yet. @bur - I'll get to that right now =). Thanks for all C&C everyone. This is my first serious terrain and I really need criticism to improve. Again, thanks. |
