I don't think you can do that. You can disable all buttons (other abilities as well) by giving the unit the "ward" classification, and there is a little complex way to disable one of the five buttons, so you only have four basic buttons left, but I don't believe there is a way to disable all move, attack, patrol... buttons, but keep the ability buttons (except maybe automatically selecting a building whenever the unit is selected...). |

Uhh, you can remove the basic abilities using custom script or WEU/UMSWE. Removing the move ability will remove the patrol and hold position ability. removing attack will remove attack and attack ground. removing both gets rid of stop. |

Will the unit with removed move order be able to move? And what are the strings for move and attack? |

amov and aatk I think. However if you remove them the unit won't be able to move... at all. I suppose if you want it to be able to move you could use a spell book ability to hijack the command card. |

There is an ability called Spellbook (it's an item ability) that can hold multiple spells. When clicked on, it clears the command card and then displays those spells. I don't know how this is done or if it can even be done, but perhaps you could make it so that when the player selects the unit, the spellbook gets automatically clicked, thus hiding the move/attack... icons. However, the only thing a spellbook can store are unit spells; no hero abilities. |
