I've been terraining for about... 3 months, but I still have trouble trying to do some things. Can anyone tell me how to get amazing camera angles i see in peoples screenshots, and how can I make it so there is no darkness throughout the map... you can see everything thanks... ^_^ |

For camera angles, hold ctrl while click+drag the right mouse button. This moves the WE camera around. No darkness... I suppose you mean a sky. To activate a sky, simply press 'K" on your keyboard. To chose different skies, go to "File>Preferences" and under the "Visual" tab, select the sky you want. I should make a faq... tomorrow. |

I assume you mean the far clipping. To change the far clipping I usually have a camera made after finding the perfect angle (good to save progress of all kind) and when you double click on the camera, you can then change the far clipping (near the bottom). I don't think that you can make the whole map visible this way though, but you can see pretty far by doing so. Edit: Map-Maker, that button is under advanced and it jus gives you an aerial view of the entire map. So it looks like the mini-map, with more detail. |
