I use LithUnWrap to unwrap all of my models. Get LithUnWrap and do this: File -> Model -> Open Open your model. Select -> All Tools -> UV mapping. Now this is where you pick what type of UV map you want. Fool around with it a bit. Pick what kind you want and make sure your happy with it. File -> UVMap -> Save File -> Model -> Save You must resave the model, because once you set what type of UV map you want, that's what type the model will be configured to. Edit the UV map in any program how you want it. I prefer photoshop. Then open your modeling program, and load the edited UV map in and apply it to your entire model. This should help. Just a quick tutorial on unwrapping with LithUnWrap, which is extremely useful. LithUnWrap: http://files.seriouszone.com/downloa...a0cce9ee446ac9 Hope this helps. Oh yeah.. If you made your model in milkshape, you might wanna save it in .3ds so you can unwrap it. |
