people... just out of curiosity, what's the storage size of the variable holding hero level in wc3? or... is this the wrong place to ask something like this? also, say we put on a map a Cenarius and one of my Level 999 Death God heroes. the Cenarius has a fair bit of health, enough to put it into 10 digits when the health is doubled [remaining health / total health]. the thing is, the font size of the Cenarius health shrinks in order to fit it inside the box, but the health of the Death God simply takes up the little box and a bit more, making it look ugly. Also, because it has a four-digit attack, it stretches on and covers other icons and stuff. how would i go about fixing this? cheers, 'tek PS - before you ask me WHY i upped the hero level, consider this... a Level 666 Death God strides up into a massive human encampment, and single-handedly demolishes the entire map worth of defences with barely a scratch on his armor [Level 666... damage reduction is like 95%]. Then, as he arrives in the village square, the terrified, mortified, stupefied [not that they were smart to begin with] flee in terror, and he meets a level 500 Paladin. In the ensuing battle, an Orcish horde attacks from the rear, and three Level 350 Blademasters join the fray. and immediately use Level 6 Mirror Image to produce a fleet of mirror imaged blademasters. Believe me... that scene is worthy of an entire damn movie. need i go on? |

The storage size doesn't have much to do with the max values in WC3--everything gets capped. I'm not sure what the capped values are, but if you search this forum a bit you can find a program that was made to bring the caps up to the max values... I read about it a few days ago. |

From what I gather: the problem is that the Death God's strength (and hence his hp) is unbeleivably huge. Reduce his strength gain per level. |
