Thats nice and straightforward. :D Dr Oinker, ACE or anyone, I'm getting "talented" with all the model stuff but I hate working on skins and especially when it's after geoset merges when the texture paths are seperate. Whats your method of doing it after say a weapons merge ? I cant wait to use your texture program by the way Oink. I don't mind being redirected towards tute's as long as they're thorough. I've gotta learn. ;) |

I personally just do it like you have to, edit each one seperately. !BUT! You can use Oinker's UV Mapper in Vertex Modify in accordance with Notepad to do it the easy way. 1. With your merges or ect, go into notepad. 2. Edit the file path to the skin originally used by the model. 3. Go into UV Mapper. 4. Load up the skin that your using. 5. Position your merged part onto the skin were u want. ---- This will solve your multiple skin problem, but there is still something you might dislike; the fact that the skin you use might not have the right texture for your merged body part/weapon. The only way to solve this is edit the skin to fit your body part**weapon with alpha channels (if you know how, I dont ATM). You can use either method if you want. I have no clue how to work with Alpha channels. -Acε |
