Change flying to walking

Is there a way to make a flying unit change into a ground unit (be targeted and have to deal with ground pathing blockers) in game via GUI triggers?

1: Metamorphosis, other morph spells
2: Replacing the unit with an exakt copy with ground unit status.

make it so it's targeted as flying and changes the units hieght
