well i was doing some sketching in my drawing pad, and i did this, no ref, and i actually turned out liking it a lot :) its about 10 min worth of work, so its not much detail funky coloring and messyness due to the fact that the original was so light that cleaning it up and making it visible kinda messed with it tell me if there are blatent anatomy mistakes and i would love some constructive critisism so that i can improve on future sketches. |

Well, I'd say that where the hair is seperated (brushed forward OR back) that the hair brushed back wouldn't all curve that much - some of the hair, sure, but right now it seems too solid, like there's a lump on the back of your head. That and the eyes are a little big. Great job, though - I like the hard edges of it. |

thanks for the suggestion! you are right of course, it does look a little odd.... i was trying to strike a comprimise between pure realism and anime syles so thats why the eyes are so big, but looking at the rest of the drawing, it really isnt all that anime at all so i should have reduced the size thx for the crits! :D |
