Skin problem

I know couple bits of changing the warcraft map preview screen (not the loading screen) into another picture like for example. ff open rpg has its preview screen with kefka picture. So what i do is i create a TGA image with the exact size and then i import it to my map and i edited the path to war3mapPreview.tga. I saved it and i went to frozen throne and when the map preview a fatal error occured.

can someone help me...

by the way how do yu upload a map file or a BTN file to this website so that people can download it?

always convert to blp.

Though tga works sometimes, blp is about 50% smaller in file weight.

and you dont want huge maps if you play over bnet

Thanks for the help but i actually copy the file from someones map and edit it in photoshhop and then it cause a fatal error when is displayed. Does BLP have different affect?

hmm.. how did you edit it?
Did you cahnge the hight or width or did you just edit the picture abit?

im not sure, but if the image is not a ^2 number(like 2,4,16,32,64,128,256 etc.) it might crash

Crash could be the prob cause theres a fatal error... So if i wanna make one can yu give me a tutorial

Pehaps it's the map, not the preveiw, try loading it without it n see

usually when you get an error when loading a map in tft, it means that you have made something in your map that is invalid such as a corrupted file or a invalid entry in the object editor.

so it might pay to double check everything in the map.
