Well, i Used Flash MX. I can make something to show u exactly how i did this if anyone cares. The best part is i can make it as bit or as small as i want without it getting pixalated it will stay nice and clean.

I am in the process of coloring it so just wait a bit.

flash mx isn't the only one being able to do this, flash mx is mainly an animator and such, flash mx uses an engine called vector art, unlike pixels, it can be zoomed at an infinity and the line will only grow, keep smooth lines. with vector art of course there is no burn/dodge or other similar tools found in photoshop ( pixel engine )

first, it looks like bad now, it's too blank. what's with those eyes, they're 3x too tall, the cheeks are bumpy and the chin pointy. her face is deformated, or is it called anime? her ears are too small.

vector drawing isn't new, and commonly used. now please finish this drawing, all i see is black lines, you don't seem to be a noob, only noobs when having a pen and a pencil goes without thinking first and do bold lines.

well, yah and duh. i just said it was vector, and i agree with him ^ its manga its suposed to look like that. Except the ears, lol. Flash mx is a animator and im realy good at it. Its just the vector is perfect for the fine tuning of outlines becouse u can freely edit your lines unlike in photshop where i have to delete.

Anyway according to my manga/anime knowing his picture seem to be a girl in pre puberty state in other words shes neither a child neither a teen yet so if the neck seem little its just the way its drawn

just look, there is not enough veins and vital stuff, the neck isn't big enough, and could hardly support the head on it's weights.

manga is easy to do and simple, and it shouldnt allow such errors..

You should take a look at this site, its cover probly all aspect of manga drawing http://www.bakaneko.com/ if you look in adolescent body tutorial you will see necks are that thin and its part of the style

Ill copy and paste what they say about the neck: ''I tend to like the really thin necks, but not all anime artists use this style (most, but not all) Generally, the more realistic you want it to be, the thicker the neck. The cuter, the thinner. (Really thick necks should be used on people you want to look buff.) ''
