hey, i just added a hero glow to the captain model for my upcomming map... what happened is that i decided to use heros in my map, of course, and i wanted to use some models taht didnt have hero glows, as well as models that did. i didnt want some heros to have a glow and others not, so im adding hero glows to several unit models. expect more in the near future. tell me what you guys think! ^_^ thanks to ari for his tutorial, if not for him, this wouldnt have worked out... his tutorial is at http://www.wc3campaigns.com/showthread.php?t=28831 |

5 minutes of work? |

Why is it over 1 MB? And yes, Jester is right. Adding/removing hero glow takes about 5 minutes of work. Er... good job anyway... |

Well, yes it's 5 min work, but I was also happy a few months ago to have Ari's tut. However, know that for most people here this is really piece of cake, so putting a poll is not really a good idea (some people here keep complaining about what they call "newbs" claiming they have done a completely new job while it's a very simple one, sometimes they can even be quite agressive). |

Ya, it is a easy thing to do, but sometimes its nice just to have models that are added/removed hero glow. |

well i definately am not claiming to have done what hasnt been done before... and i had the poll to rate how well the job was done, not how long it took to do it. it might be a piece of cake for those of you wc3 modding vets, but for a beginner like me its an accomplishment |

Yeah, it's an accomplishment : the very first time I did one with Ari's tut I messed up the parent references and I got some very weird deformations :> |
