I like them, but the black sort looks weird :\ Also I'm guessing you plan on reskinning the stair doodad reinless made to fit in? |

I can't really get rid of those, it's just the camera angle i take the screenshot. and the black thing's hard to do; it's abbys tileset from outland. it's very hard to place and make it look good. Mozared |

I think the terrain is too focused on just the stair doodads, you need to place more doodads in, whether it be enviornmental or not, right now its bland. also smooth out the cliff sides, atleast a little. I've seen LOTR and the stairs were actually built into the mountain not just floating inbetween like that. |

Well they're not built into the mountain, you should look again. remember the part where a piece of brigde breaks, and walls towards another piece of brigde, then frodo jumps on the standing piece. this couldn't have happened if the stairs was stuck to the mountain wall. i think your right about the doodads, the black doesn't need them but the place where the orcs are does. i think your right about the cliff sides as well; with a bit of fantasy it looks like floating platforms now... Terrain looks crazily cool, but i agree some lighting would help and a little more realism, the stairs going up and down look a little weird at some parts. |

I know it looks a bit akward, it didn't really worked out so i solved it that way, i think it looks cool though. Mozared |

for the stairs use the ctlr+pg down to make it look good but its very nice. you can get rid of the blue line by going to View->(click) Camera bounds |

I dunno, I haven't read lotr in a while, but wasn't the bridge of khazad dum a thin piece of rock spanning an abyss or something? And Gandalf breaks it and sends the balrog into the deeps. I think what you have here is the part leading up to the bridge. |

Now that you mention it. i'm not 100% sure about this as well. cause the part i made is when everybody jumps (i believe thats only in the movie), and frodo doesn't. then (i believe) the rock breaks off, and falls against the other part of the stairs. that part frodo jumps into aragorns arms, and then the rock slides into the depths. besides, now that i read your text again; it's not abbys, i don't know if you read book 2 but gandalf returns (in the movie it even shows he'd fallen into a puddle of water), besides again, it's not only the balrog who falls, gandalf as well. The Bridge of Khazad-dum was the bridge spanning the last region before the exit I think. But nice work otherwise. |
