hey everyone, im making a stormtrooper model for an upcoming wc3 mod. i think i made it too detailed, i just finished the helmet, and tahts 110 polys. tell me what you think.. think it'll be too big of a file? |

i think something's bugged... those image files are smaller by exactly one digit... all around the 170-180 kb range, not 1700-1800 |

The pictures are taken during various stages, the last picture is the most detailed one I like it, when skinned, it should look very much like a storm trooper. I would hold off on the uvw map until the whole model is totally complete, so that if you decide the change something, you, or someone else, won't have to go through the trouble of reunwrapping. |

Grrr... I've been making a stormtrooper yesterday, based on a spheric model (I can only mdl edit). And of course yours is gonna be a lot better :> |

Looks like poo, go pay someone to teach you or something, or teach yourself as I did. |

just so everyone knows, this is the first model i have ever made... and i am in fact teaching myself. thank you for the positive reply, armel and sturm, and thanks for the suggestions as well |

ahahahah, yoiu obviously havent been around long enough to give me a bad rep like that, oh Ive done better, MUCH BETTER! AAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA |

well obviously telling someone "to pay someone to teach you" is not going to sit well. I don't know why everybody thinks its so bad, the last picture really looks like a stormtrooper face. I'm pretty sure the helmet was a bit taller, you kind of round it out rather quickly. |

that my friend was a joke. And yes, it does look ok, but overall, it isnt very good, and Id need to see the whole body to really crit its proportions and stuff... |

he shud do more of the model before posting anything... its basically a fuckin circle with extensions |

a fuckin cricle with extensions? thats a half circle with 16 polys. the whole model is 110 polys. a half circle with 94 more polys shaped in is a bit more than an 'extension'. You're also the same person who didnt even bother to look at more than the first image before posting an opinion on it |
