I haven't heard of any programm, which could do this ... :(
I also haven't heard yet that it is possible to copy the terrain to paste it in another map ...
Sorry, no luck this time ... ;)

Yes, I know how to do it.
I've included a merger for object editor data files in WEU.
Merging terrain or triggers is not possible there though.
It could be done of course, terrain wouldn't be that difficult but merging triggers is not worth the effort I guess.

You mean you can't merge triggers? I thought you could export them to a folder, open a new map, and import them from that folder! If that doesn't work I'm screwed o_O by the way PitzerMike great job on WEU.

well is possible but really difficult.

but you can merge terrain using WE

simple , you want to merge 2 maps.

both are 256x128,

simple create a new map of 256x256, save it.

now open 1 map of them and set tilesets (don't type any botton otherwise you will need to set it in camaras and make it selectable )

now select all the map (just tillset) and set in edit copy, open your map of 256x256
and in a side of the you will set pastes, them doo the same thing with the other.

I didn't wanna say it's impossible, just difficult as BlinkBoy stated. CnPing it by hand could take you ages and also writing a script to do it would take you some time.

My thoughts exactly. Man, I remember when I used to make DoBRP. Since my partner and I did seperate parts of the map (He did triggers, I did terrain, and we both did some unit stuff), it was hell getting it all together. One time, I had to import, BY HAND, all the terrain into the triggers/units/settings/preferences and all that, and it was HORRIBLE. I had to get the tilesets just right, I had to delete the entire old one, and I had to CNP doodads from a 256x256 onto another 256x256 and then copy the terrain over, or viceversa. It took me at least an hour for each map, and I got so annoyed from staying up all night to meet releases. But, that goes to show you; thinking ahead works in every case. The worst was at the release of DoBRp5.0. We had 11 different terrain versions, and I litterally got no sleep for nearly 72 hours. I was working my ass off, buzzed on coffee, and so tired, but in the end, it all worked out almost just fine. I'm glad that's over.
