I'm Testing an idea I cam up with for an Altered Melee idea. The idea is an upgrade just like Beserker Upgrade. Chaos is a Simple Process that turns all Orcs (Peons, Grunts, Raiders, Kodo Beasts, Warlocks, & BladeMaster) into Fel Orcs (Chaos). In the Orc Campaign for Reign of Chaos (Chapter 4) You Play as grom hellscream to defeat the Demigod Cenarious(SP), when doing so, you stumble across the Chaos Fountain (of blood) and all your orcs Become Chaos Orcs. I looked up how it was done in that map, and all Blizz did was allows chaos orc buildable after you get to the chaos fountain. no upgrade is done. In the Frozen Throne World Editor in the Unit Module under Upgrades/Special There is an Upgrade that's s called Chaos and they are chaos upgrade abilities under the abilities/orc part, yet All the do is replace the Unit As I want. Problem is changing the build icons. Once upgraded u can now build fel orcs, but the build buttons (Peons, Grunts, Raiders, Kodo Beasts, Warlocks, & BladeMaster) still has regular orc buttons. I guess I will need a trigger for this. Can anyone help me out? I am somewhat newbish at making triggers, so perhaps can someone write one for me? The trigger would be for replacing the Build Icons from the regular orc icons, to the new fel orc Build Icons once I upgrade Chaos. |

Why don't you use the Berserker Upgrade, it works fine. |

Are you sure (speaking of the Troll Headhunter's berserker ability). I think it DOES change the Headhunter's icon. You will have to use triggers this way (and I don't have WE open so bare with me here): Make a custom upgrade (based off of the Troll's berserker ability) for every unit that you want to become 'Chaos'. Than make an upgrade that has absolutely no effect, just use this for the icon/price/description/etc... Have a trigger that says something like "When upgrade X (the upgrade with no effect) is activated... Apply upgrade Y (all of the chaos upgrades) for triggering player." I believe that would work exactly how you want it to with minimal trigger use. Sorry if I still didn't help. -MadBagOfHorses |
