How do you decrease a units attack damage when they pivk up an item, then return it to normal when they drop it? |

try to copy a item ability and set the damage bonus to a number under zero and give this ability to the item that the untis picks up |

I tried that, i couldnt put negative values in the damage field. i have the negative things allowed also in prefs. edit: I figured it out. fire bonus damage allows negative values |

hit SHIFT then double click the field to get a negative value in there. It works just fine but be careful. A damage value in the negatives can cause your guy to heal who he attacks (and that is just wierd). |

didnt someone ask a question like this nearly the same.. got same answer? Note for All who need negative Values.. there is a preference that saids Allow Negatives in Editor check the file menu. -BTW Healin with -Value can have its use expectly if you make items like "Healing Rod" which lowers your attack to like 50 so you heal only your allies when you attack them. Creative Use for Priest? makem only able to attack allies. givim -20 atk. and you got yourself a priest who can constantly heal a allie without casting. |
