i made a model from scratch for my map, but i cant animate for my life, so i want to give the model admiral proudmores animations, to do this i think you need to have the admirals bones in the model.....im not sure tho so i tried puting the admirals bones in my model, but the placement got rly screwed up and im jus 2 pissed to find a way to get the bones in the rite place, so can som1 give my model the admirals bones/animations (if you dont need the admirals bones fer his animation then can u just give my model the admirals animations) ill give you credit in my map and when/if i post the model on the download place.... (the admirals bones r alrdy in the model, i jus cant get them to work in the meshes rite... ) |

giv me the model in .3ds format and the skin in tga format and ill finish it up for u to the end and export. btw u did this in gmax and export with dex, right. u exported wrong. select the model and right click on it, go to convert to>convert to editable mesh and print to listner again. u should get pages and pages of data. an easy way to copy all this into an mdl is ctr+A to select as much as u can, then ctrl+x to cut and then go to notepad and press ctrl+V to paste. repeat multiple times until all the data is there. PS: dont forget to remove the unnecessary bits. This applies also to all ppl using dex. (I should write a tutorial). ![]() |
