Okay I dled this file which is a attachment, the flie was the M16 , and I used it as a model for and item and all I got was a block (the green and black block of doom) I restarted and I get this message saying that Could not load m16.mdl flie and when I tried starting the game up I cool not no see the item |

If it had skin files, make sure they are in the right path, because a model with no skin is invisible in Wc3. If you get the green block, save your map, close world editor, open world editor back up, and reload the map. The block should now be the model. |

they are either in the readme included with the model, or saved in the path in the .zip file. For instance, you have a newskin.blp in the .zip. On the far right it should have a path column, and it should have something like Units/Textures/NewUnit. Thats the path, just import into that path and tack the file name on the end. If neither of those exist, your only hope is converting the file from .mdx to .mdl and opening in notepad to check the paths. |
