This is the big one. This is the biggest map I am going to ever make. It's called The Uprising of the Undead. It is an RPG. The base plot of the story is, your town has been over run by the undead. The king has selected you to flea the city and warn other cities of the evil coming there way. The thing that is going to make this RPG different then other RPG's? simple, you get to command and army, build units for that army, buy there weapons, and send them to defeat the undead. It will have lots of RPG elements in it as well.
Now lets get into the Q&A.

Q: What makes this RPG different the other RPG's I have seen?
A: Simple, you get to command an army and lead it to victory. There will still be elements of RPG in this game as well.

Q: What elements of RPG are going to be in this game?
A: The heroes get to travel by them selfs and kill monsters, do quests, get items, level up, and all the other general elements added in an RPG. Also have very detailed story line, with many many different hero names.

Q: When I beat the game, what happens next? Do I have to play it again?
A: No, there will be ten different difficulties to choose from.

Q: Will there be a save and load system?
A: Yes. This one will save all your items you currently had and of course your character. It will also be cheat proof.

Q: How will I get to control my army? Will it be like regular warcraft, where you point and click, or will it be something different.
A: It will be something different. I am going to make a system where you can select a command to give to your units and they will follow. There will be five to six different commands, but this might change in the beta testing or later versions.

Q: How will the difficulties make the game harder?
A: Simple, I am going to bust my ass off and make all the units same, but on harder difficulties, the units will have more life and do more damage.

Q: I heard that there was going to be a cool leveling and stat system in your map.
A: Yes, there will be, and I'll explain the system later on.

Okay Q&A is finished. Please post comments on what you think about this map, and if your willing to help. All help is appreciated. I will be posting all the explanations on everything very soon.

The leveling and stat system and going to be Interger based. It is all going to be mathamatical formulas calculated by the computer. I haven't come up with a exp system yet, but I am definatly going to get the system down.
Here is the stats system.

Health %(Stat 1)
Mana %(Stat 2)
Strength(Determines melee damage)(Stat 3)
Intelligence(Determines spell damage)(Stat 4)
Reflexes(Determines evading chance, lowers with heavier armor)(Stat 5)
Aim(Determines ranged damage)(Stat 6)
Defence(Determines damage reduced)(Stat 7)
Magic Defence(Determines damage reduced by spells)(Stat 8)

Thats all the hero stats. I will post more later.

Well here is more. Now for the hero levels. The heroes max level is 1000. The reason why it is so high, is because of all the difficulties added with this game. Now to go over the difficulties. Like I said there will probably be like 10 maybe less.
Very Easy-Easy-Normal-Hard-Very Hard-Brutal-Nightmare-Legendary-Hell-Not Recomended!!!.
That is all the difficulties. Now to move on to controlling and building an army. This part is relativly simple. You send you hero to a shop and purchase unit to fight in the war. You cannot have more then a certain amount of units at one time but it will be a decent amount. You get money by killing creeps, doing merchant work, mining (This isn't as easy as it sounds), and taking over undead land. Now for buying weapons for you units. This is also kinda simple but, you go the build you purchased units from, and right beside it is a unit upgrader. There will probably be tons of upgrades to choose from. Purchasing weapons for your army increases their damage, but also has different effects, i.e. vamp aura. Purchasing armor for your army increases their defence and has defencive abilities as well. Your army has moral, and when a unit dies your armies moral lowers. If it gets below a certain number the army is forced automatticaly to retreat and re-group. You will have no control over your units when this happens. They will be givin to the computer player and told to retreat. Once back at base the units moral will raise point by point, until it is at a stable level, meaning they will be able to fight again, but will probably retreat easy. While in a fight the units moral can also gain moral points, but at a slower rate then the points you lose from one of your units dieing. The undead do not have moral as they are ruthless and will fight to the bitter end. This is a great disadvantage against your army. Fortunatly for you the undead will not pursue you once your retreating.
That is all for now. Again I'll post more later.
