Aight, first off make BACKUPS OF ALL OF YOUR MAPS, all of them, because once protected, they are lost. Next, either get blackdicks heavylocker, or another form of protection, i usually use w3m map utlities (can be found in files section) After you protect your map, no one can open it(hopefully) with w3m map utilites use the w3m power protector, i found that ones pretty good. Also test your map a couple times after you protected it, make sure it works, some protecters screw it up. and last thing, MAKE BACKUPS BEFORE YOU PROTECT!!! |

map protectors aren't in the files page, Warcraft III Map Utilities should be, but I'm not certain. If its not do a search on the forums for it. Right now, the most recent version of heavy locker will not protect maps created in 1.16, so I would suggest going with Exprotect. Heavy Locker can still be used to compress map size though. |

Here is the older version of Heavy Locker i use this, i believe it protects maps and has possibly the best map file compression you can find. |
