I'm making a paintball map, and i'm making the paintball vendor right now, his little hut where he sells you drinks, or armor, or different weapons etc. I made the little hut so far, but can anyone tell me how to put a roof on this...

make a new doodad based off a torch and change the model file to a villagerman and then place it in the shop.

but i need to be able to make him able to sell things... if hes a torch he won't be able to sell things. I made the model file of the marketplace a villager and that works but again, i can't fit him in the shop.
If u know a way to make a torch able to sell items plz do tell :D

edit: im using the brazier, cuz i already changed the model of the torch for something else... so if u know how to make a brazier sell items, plz do tell ;)

You cant use a brazier, as it cant go through things like the torch, and try making a shop with 0.01 scaling size then make a custom doodad based on the torch (edit model to man) and put the shop with 0.01 scaling where the custom doodad torch is. Hope that helped :D

To get the unit to fit in the stall, just change its pathing texture to "NONE". Pathing texture is towards the bottom of the unit editor somewhere.

It is really very simple. VERY simple. For all of the shop peices, just go back and make all the pathing textures "Mushroom" or "None" so that units can walk through them, and then put the shop inside of it. If you don't want in-game units (Such as the paintballer) to be able to walk throught the shop, just make Pathing Blockers on the sides of the shop. Simple as that.

Alright. Here is a step-by-step instruction:

1: Open up the Object Editor
2: Find a doodad that is part of your shop (Support Column, for example)
3: When you have found it, click on it.
4: On the right is all the information about the technical settings of that doodad, size, tint, model file, etc.
5: Near the bottom, in a catagory called pathing, you will see one labled:
Pathing - Pathing Texture
6: Double click on that.
7: Look in that list. To find Mushroom, set the list to look through Doodads, and then find Mushroom (It has a lot of other pathing examples too, such as Shrub, flowers, etc, but Mushroom is the first word in the texture path)
8: Click on that
9: Omfg almost done
10: Click ok (or whatever) and then you should be able to place those doodads anywhere, and place anything on/in them, even units.
11: Repeat all the above steps with every part of your shop (I hope you don't have a lot of pieces)
