Interested in getting a map hosted.

I've been working on a warcraft 3 map for over 3 months and I wanted to know how I would go about requesting a forum here. I private messaged Dorelian 11 days ago, and I don't think he's even read it yet :-\. I'm not trying to advertise, I just want to know if there's anyone else I can talk to about it. Can anyone help?

No, only Dorelian is available for that. Also, you cannot get hosted if you just started the map (which isn't the case here) AND if you didn't made *too* much progress.

You could try on IRC to talk with anyone if neccessary.

Dorelian has said that no more projects will be allowed hosting for the time being, there are too many as it is, and most of them don't ever finish.

Correction - He won't accept any more campaign and medium/big project. You have a chance if your map is a bnet map with an original concept and if it is almost finish OR if you have demo/video ready. The best is to finish your map up to beta stage then you'll get hosting and you will have a forum to do your test and post future update. It also help a lot to have a good reputation on the site or to have completed another project before.

Until you are accepted, go in the development forum and make a thread for your project. This is usualy where Dorelian pick up new project.

Thanks! That's basically where my map is now. It's an 8 player map, and I have a playable version. I've completed plenty of projects before, though none on this site :( . I think I'll add a little more polish and do that in a few days.
