Im in a lazyness period yes.... slacked off working on my site... did this last week and it was the Top secret file of my gallerie, lack of shading, i asked ogre to color this or my lovely Saboera, he accepted but i kinda didnt got any news since so ill just post it, hes a bit uncomplete i guess its look ok.. i doubt i will modify it, im a bit busy with my female contest entry coloring which is a pain in the ***, other than that i got another one partially complete, a voodoo doll and a little demon, ill try to scan them if i can actually feel less lazy... lazyness kill me :( Got so many crap to do.... got to go at hairstylist to bleech a part of my hair so i can get some BLUE!!! |

ALLRIGHT! lets get the party started: On technique: Make the outside lines darker and cleaner. it will give it a much more proffesional sharp feel. Also, your drawing is extremely smudgy, try to keep the smudges to a minimum. The shading is not contrasted enough. You need much more contrats to provide vivid 3D. Try to keep the lines as fine as you can, no roughy smudgy stuff, just hardcore straight clean lines. On drawing mechs: When u draw mechanicals, you have to make suure that you have a purpose for every bit of wire and other stuff in your drawing, even if others wont notice. You could have made the chest much more attractive if you would have given it use. Also, a note on screws, you dont neeed that many on the arm plates. It become too much and unrealalisitc. Make sure you also provide articulations at thee joints. For more realistic feel, use real mechanical joint movements: lateral movement, radial movement, or axial movement. Also, work on the hands, and the swor seems to have a flat blade. Otherwise, you did a pretty good job. Especially on the upperhalf, its visually pleasing. |

I do agree, i will have to get my darker pencil since the one i used is a H pen which is kinda light even on the normal paper so i have to scan more dirty, i tried to get a use for everything, basically legs are made of metal bars + air pumps, at first the wires were there to simulate some kind of flesh effect and for the arm plates i kinda like this like that, a bit of exxageration doesnt kill ;) and how does it come NO ONES ELSE REPLYING!!!! ![]() |

And try and study textures a bit to give them a bit more realstic feel. Right now it looks like he is wearing a fur coat but im not quite sure. |

Ok, lets see..lets be critical for once... 1. Are the hands supposed to be different sizes? 2. The inner workings of this 'mechanical unit' are beyond me...they make no anatomical sense...(the lower half) 3. The sword is nice. (yay) 4. Is that a tudor collar? 5. Is that a hydrolic pump/ fire extinguisher liek thing on his back? Make it more dramatised...give it gears and more pipes..its what keeping this guy moving... 6. Check out warhammer 40k contructs.... 7. His hands..are too human...they should be a collection of wires, gears, ballpoint joints and jagged peices of metal...maybe to indicate the robot does the repairs on HIMSELF after battle (the word tells ME that he's a wandering warrior kind of unit) 8. I hope those 'things' in his chest are..um..wireds..or pipes..not...worms. --> And then..isn't it kind of easy to dismantle him by one happy slice to that area? He has no chest plate..to cover that... 9. I might scan someone of my work..its pretty bad too..so you cna return the critical favor...sometime.. 10. It IS a skeleton with mechanical bits..is it not? 11. Is he evil or good? I cannot tell...some evil spikes could be nice.. Details: I agree with The_Someone, when he said less bolts..screws..wtv.. The armor looks brand new Is he fresh from the factory? If not, add pbits of jagged armor and scratches...from battle.. If this is not a final work, disreguard most of my critique -Horus ^_^ EDIT: Minor logical problems in post |

there it should explain a little here, its basically an Elite assassin robot model, designed to be quick and make huge damage, they got a cloaking device (located inside the bunch of wires) that work like in ghost in the shell, he basically become invisible but can be seen using X-Ray view, one of the only model that can counter other models of their kind, the wires are designed to protect the cloaking device, absorb shocks and are fireproof, mixed to those a cooling system tubes link that basically make the robot invisible to Heat vision, using a sword for assassination since guns make too much noise, in desesperate case they can use the flamethrower hidden under the big glove to fry anything in theyre path |

for the hidden flame thrower, i was thinking, maybe you should put some detail on the hand. and then a hole where the flame comes out. becaues right now its like "its so hidden that its not even there!" unless the hand transforms into a flamethrower then yea... that'd be cool! |

it a bit weird but the whole mechanic hand actually pop up with to glove from the flamethrower cannon, after its pop up the unit can actually use his flamethrower, this pic should attemp to explain what i mean ![]() |

hey! its the truth seriously!! it was meant to be like that on the design, actually that idea come from an anime serie Thats why the arm is big o_O The only thing that isnt planned is the humanoid left hand on the other arm, was too lazy to make a robotic design for it, also the legs are pretty random yes i admit it And yea ill go back to draw i got a little Defender robot model to finish |

Well, i promised i would post some random mechanical things i've drawn... Here's one...maybe two..(post before upload kinda thing) I expect alot of critique... Yes, the um..flying ..thing? is a doodle in school..actually..both are..one in a spare and the other in class. |

hum you really should have make your own thread for that O_o , not that i care but often its taken as some kind of offense and mods dont like that, its happened to some dudes and they got problems which is bad, i dont want you to get probs so next time make a thread and dont post in other artist thread unless its public, thats like a golden rule... ^o^ |
