Me needs kind of a timetable. I'm working on a campaign set 10.000 years before the actual Warcraft III storyline. If I'm not mistaken, that's the time, when the legion first attacked the Warcraft world and were banished by the night elves. Now I need some details on what happened exactly at this time. And how the high elves, humans and dwarfs fit into that time (like, was there a lordaeron? A Khaz Modan?). And how did the night elves defeat the legion, without sacrificing the world tree, like in the modern storyline? Don't be mistaken, though, the playable race will be the dwarfs! I'll propably have to add my own touch to the story... |

What the...the dwarfs appeared first about 2500 years before the modern Warcraft storyline?? My plans for the campaign are about to go down the drain... It's always the same with the poor dwarfs, they just exist to be there, nothing else! :< Ah, I'll make a campaign anyway. With an altered storyline! It shall take place about 2200 years before Warcraft I.... ![]() |

Actually, the Dwarves are older than the Nightelves, and were created by the titans to shape the bowels of the earth. These ancient dwarves were made form living stone, however, and do not quite resemble the dwarves of today. |

I've read that, too. But I can't work with that... |

Why's that? I think "stone" skins for dwarf units would rock. |

In fact I DID had an idea for a unit in the campaign because of that: Dwarfs, who haven't become totally mortal yet and still have a rocky skin and maybe some elemental magics...the campaign plays pretty soon after the dwarfs awakening, after all. How'd be that? |
