Autumns Adversary (BLM)

yeb... i know... i said i would never make a bloodmage skin... but meh, i started one... >''<

this is the Autumns Adversary, one of the heros of vig and mines (for now) secret project... i'll reveile more of his doing as the skin progresses, but right now i just wanted to show this... the fucking mantle and sholderpads took me 4 friggin hours to make so... damn here it is:



i am most likely going to make him a nightelf, any suggestions on clothing are verry welcome, sure is is that i am going to try to give him a bandana ;)

i have a request!!
is there someone capable of making a model thingie, that can be attatched to this dude so it looks like leafs are constantly falling off his mantle? just like ancients when they walk? that would make this dude soo much more vivid in game...

saikann just gave me a badass idea, i might make him a tree dude, entirely composed out of wood and leafs... consult with vig0r about the idea... yeah..

very nice cape. but the two pale leaves behind his head make it look like he has gaint elven ears :p
not much I can add really cos there are only leaves....perhaps some twigs and mushrooms on the more static parts.
....I think a bandana would be a mistake, he'd look like a hippie °.°
and blue/purple night elf face might not look so good with all the red and oranges....I could be wrong I'll have to wait and see.

i think i'll do a nightelf and elven face, see what fits best... i might try saikanns idea... i just dont know yet... i think if i make him a log he'll be too boring... i think nightelf might be best... or i'll invent a new type of elf... hmmm any suggestions on skin color maybe?

I love the details with the cape and shoulder pad leaves...I can see why it took you hours to do. ;) (especially the alpha-ing around the edges of the cape...wow)

I have to echo two bits tho that others have said. Yes, the bright leaves behind his head do look kinda like 'ears', at least from this angle (maybe darken them a bit). As for the skin tone...hm...the NE lavender may clash a bit with the 'reddish' autumn theme you have. His current flesh tone is decent, unless you can think of something more inline with the theme (tanner maybe?).

The silver on the inner legs stands out a bit too, but I don't think you want him to be ALL leaves either. ;)

I like this skin. When this is finished, are you gonna release? I have some suggestions, make his face bark like, his chest should be like a tree with vines coming down, and his legs like ,maybe, tree roots. Just suggestions! Nice work!

i'm workingon a freaky looking NE head that'll fit great... the rest will probubly become bark and stuff, though i am not sure about that yet... maybe some rock, i dont know i'll see what i encounter during the skinning.... :god_help_us:

sorry bout the double post but that'll bump the thread up again, so people will notice a change ;)

i made the NE face a bit, it isnt done yet, i'll have to come up with a haircolor first. also, i have to deepen the shadingh a bit, i just noticed... as you can see, the purple doesnt really clash that much with the autumn theme of it all... at least, imo... i guess. :god_help_us:

i went for dark red hair, and it looks brilliant imo... as soon as i finished the beard, it instantly had this druid feel... i am quite satisfied. some minor changes to the head and stuff, mainly smoothening. the hair is recolored i am allmost ashamed to say, but making hair is just boring and quite pointless-- not much to change about it is there?

i'll make a bloodmage demon hunter one day vig-- then u get ur bandana/blindfold... the bandana doesnt suit this guy, allthough i could try a crown of leafs...

personally i kinda love the way he looks kind of sad... i think that emphasises the authumn theme, a little sadness... lovable. plus, the red hair shows that hes not your average night elf... hes... diffrent.
