Zepir or CBWhiz? Zepir: Just put the "comdlg.ocx and richtx.ocx" files in your "c:\Windows\System\" Directory and there you have it! Make sure you put the Map Protector OUTSIDE of your Warcraft3 Directory. If its on the inside it can and will screw up all your maps. Just copy/paste your maps into the folder containing the protector and double click the Program "Protector" after that I forget the rest, mine stopped working. CBWhiz: Get the same files required for WinMPQ on your computer, then double click "MapProtect" MPQ File: Browse for your map. then select Protect Map with Password, type in Password then hit Execute Command. The map is now protected. |

Where do you find CBwhiz's protector? I've looked everywhere but still can't find it. Could you post a link please? |

That protector isn't mine. It's Weaaddar/Unlucky footman's. Mine is different: it's included in W3Z map editor. |

btw, Zepir, if i add ur W3Zprotection to a map, it can't be opened in WE (OK), can't be opened in W3Z without password (OK) but can it be opened with MPQ? If it cans, the protection should be improved so u can't open the map without password or somthing... ![]() |
