I'm doing some voice acting and MIDI converting

and if anyone uses this program i could use some tips on the recording

and i don't know where to begin with the MIDI it always messes up, i do quite a few different settings. Is this me or COol edit?

I suggest using Gold Wave ( http://www.goldwave.com ) as your main Voice Recording Software. It has a great flexibility on voice that has no limits. Go from changing your pitch from a Women to a Male voice, Mechanize your voice, add echoes to mimic Starcraft's High Templars to even cropping the sound file to even the 0.001 of a second. Unfortunately its not free but if you really want it you can PM me and I will give you my cd key.

EDIT: Watch it with the offering that kind of things. It's rather illegal

Uhhm cool edit is a post editing tool. Just whack the record button in your composer tool. Read the sticky I wrote about composition and MIDI's for more info.

Hint: Bad idea...this forum is very strict on any form of software piracy...
Use pming...that isn;t intercepted (as far as i know)
ANd frutiloops is another great editor for thast sort of thing...(jsut had to add)

Though Fruityloops isn't a post editing tool by design. It's like.. winamp can play video files, but it was made for audio. That idea ;)
